2026-2027 Elections

At the end of Grand Ritual, following a regular CCM, elections were held. The following people will be your 2026-2027 council officer team! More information regarding their introductions will be filled in when their terms officially start at Fall Frenzy of this year.

Chief: Ben Parker(Firecrafter 2021, Minisino 2024, Former Council Vice Cheif, Secretary, Ransburg Camp Chief, Vice Chief, Rising Phoenix Chief, Secretary.)

Vice Chief: Clara Baskin (Firecrafter 2023, Minisino 2025, Former Currahee Ember Secretary)

Secretary: Casper Sumner (Firecrafter 2023, Minisino 2026, Former Ransburg Camp Chief)

University of Scouting 2026

Today, January 17th at 8:30 AM, council representatives gave a talk on Firecrafter's purpose. During this presentation many productive conversations were had between the council representatives and scoutmasters about ways to implement the Firecrafter program within their units and how to promote the program as well as grow excitement. Following this presentation, there was a Firecrafter booth set up, featuring a lot of Firecrafter memorabilia where more conversations regarding the function of Firecrafter occurred.

Governors Breakfast for Scouting

Today, council members and officers of Jaccos Towne Lodge as well as a some outstanding scouts and scouters attended the 30th annual Governor's Breakfast for Scouting. This is an event designed to celebrate the successes of individual scouts, as well as to highlight and share inspiring stories of achievements through scouting. This is a crucial event for fundraising for the council. The fundraising from this event helps to make scouting more accessible and affordable for the leaders of tommorrow.
