1953 would be the first year a vice chief was elected. Prior to this year, the youth council officers only consisted of chief, secretary / scribe, and treasurer.
From 1920 - 1953, Firecrafter did not have an official advisor. It was instead advised directly by the scouting executive.
The alumni association did not exist until 1960. When it was formed, all adult Firecrafters (21+) were retroactively inducted into the association, and all Firecrafters to age out would be added into the association. Adult candidacies would later be created by Lew Johnson to replace the adult "honoraries" method.
